"That's what I love about reading: one tiny thing will interest you in a book, and that tiny thing will lead you onto another book, and another bit there will lead you onto a third book. It's geometrically progressive - all with no end in sight, and for no other reason than sheer enjoyment." ~The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society by Mary Ann Shaffer and Annie Barrows (2008)

So I'll begin... My first new book of the year is going to be "Home" by Julie Andrews... It's a Memoir of her early years. I'm not traditionally one to read a biography or autobiography, so I'm excited about this change of pace!
ReplyDeleteHi Jen,
ReplyDeleteHave you read The Glass Castle? If not, it is a great memoir. I just finished Half-Broke Horses, which is by the same author, Jeannette Walls. I really enjoyed it.
Hope you are doing well.
Happy New Year!
Jamie
